Ten Tired Teachers
Ten tired teachers sitting down to dine,
One drank a bottle of beer,
Then there were nine.
Nine tired teachers phoning up their mates,
One yabbered on and on,
Then there were eight.
Eight tired teachers counting to eleven,
One got lost along the way,
Then there were seven.
Seven tired teachers fighting with some sticks,
One got hit on the head,
Then there were six.
Six tired teachers trying their best to jive,
One split his trousers,
Then there were five.
Five tired teachers sitting on the floor,
One fainted dead away,
Then there were four.
Four tired teachers climbing up a tree,
One fell off a branch,
Then there were three.
Three tired teachers painting a house blue,
One fell off his ladder,
Then there were two.
Two tired teachers flopping into bed,
One woke up the next morning,
To find the other was dead.
One tired teacher rattling a chain,
He jumped out the window,
And was never seen again.
