The Kennels
by Jordan, age 13

We're going to the kennel today,
We're going to get a dog, hurray!
I want one that's big and fluffy,
My brother wants one small and puffy,
My dad wants one that's tall and thin,
And mum wants one with a cheesy grin!

We're at the kennel now,
We're picking out a dog.
It's tall and fluffy, and very thin
It's also got a cheesy grin!

Mealtime
by Jordan, age 13

First course:
Yorkshire pudding, Roast lamb,
Lots of sweetcorn, Bits of ham.

Second course:
Treacle tart, Fruit cake,
Maple syrup, Chocolate flake.

And what would you say to all of that?
I say don't eat it, you'll get fat!

Guardian Angels
by Jordan, age 13

Do you believe in faeries?
Do you believe in devils?
Do you believe in pixies,or brownies, or elves?
Have you ever seen a feather,
Float towards you when you're sad?
Do you ever hear the flutter,
Of an angel around?
Because they're always there,
To get you through the day,
They're always there,
To help you on your way,
They, are your Guardian Angels.
