Ghoul Poem
by Joshua, age 7

One fine day while I was in a school
I came upon a wicked ghoul
It's teeth were black,
Its hair was like slime,
It sent a shiver along my spine
It looked at me in a funny way,
Before it began to say
You look good enough to eat
Perhaps you'll be my lunchtime treat
I ran so fast my heart did pound
The headmistress must be found
Around the corner I sped ahead
And found the headmistress-but she was dead
I kept on running as I let out a scream
And woke myself up from my horrible dream.
