The Water Cycle Poem
By  Ayla, age 11.

The first stage is Evaporation,
Little droplets,
Think they have performed levitation,
The naughty sun,
Heats the water,
Poor little droplets,
Go through trauma.

The second stage is Transpiration,
This is when droplets do multiplication,
The green trees have little fights,
When they breathe out,
They let droplets reunite.

The third stage is Condensation,
The little droplets have conversations,
About why is so cold in the sky,
Then one little droplet would say,
“We were hot a minute ago but
Now we hit a cold surface that’s why.

Now the droplets have turned into clouds,
They travel at the speed of light,
Oh dear when they scream and shout,
They are just so loud.

The last stage is Precipitation,
Now you know about evaporation and condensation,
This is the part when the journey ends,
Its starts to rain,
Until it clogs up the drains,
The droplets are back in the sea again.
