Someone has been in my house
By Rae, age 7

The three bears were a very sensible family until they left their front door open by mistake and Goldilocks got in. Since then Goldilocks has been troubling them to get porridge. Luckily enough for the bears she never got it.
Then one fine day father bear said "let's stop Goldilocks once and for all!"
"I agree!" said mother bear. "Me too!" piped baby bear. So that afternoon the three bears set off for Goldilocks' house. They knocked politely and said "Goldilocks! Are you in?!!?" "Yes!" said Goldilocks hurrying to open the door. "Oh!" she said when she opened the door. "You again. What do you want?!!?" Father bear stepped forward and said "We want to give you some of our porridge to say sorry." "And the recipe!" added mother bear. "And a bowl!" cried baby bear. Goldilocks looked suspicious but she took the recipe and ran inside and shut the door.
As soon as the little house was out of sight, father bear burst out laughing. "G -G ----Goo back to the h- hh- house and s-ssee what h- hh-hh- happens!" stuttered father bear. So mother bear and baby bear ran back to Goldilocks house to find her sitting in an armchair munching lovely scones.
"Oh dear!" sighed mother bear. "We gave old blonde hair the wrong recipe!"
"What!" cried father bear, when the two bears got back.
"I know dear!" said mother bear. "What are we to do?"
"I don't know dear," said father bear, "I don't know."
The next day father bear woke mother bear up early. "I've been thinking," he said. "What have you been," yawn, "thinking of?" said mother bear sleepily. "I've been thinking that we could do this..." said father bear, and he started to whisper.
"Good idea!" cried mother bear. "Let's try."
So when mother bear had got baby bear dressed and fed, they all went out to Goldilocks' house. Father bear knocked and said, "Goldilocks! Are you in?" "Yes!" came the reply. She opened the door. "Thanks for the scones." "Goldilocks!" interrupted mother bear, "we want to stay at your house tonight." "OK!" grinned Goldilocks. "Come in."
So the three bears walked inside, leaving muddy prints on the floor. Goldilocks looked alarmed, but she tried not to show it. She showed the bears to their room and comfied herself in an armchair. When the bears thought it was safe, they tiptoed down the stairs. They found Goldilocks fast asleep. "Quick!" whispered mother bear. "Do it now...!"
The next morning Goldilocks went into the bear's room. She pulled off the duvet--- but the bears were not there. "What happened?" wondered Goldilocks. She went downstairs. She opened the door. Well- she tried to open the door, but it stayed closed. Goldilocks looked out of the window. There were the bears! They had locked her in! "Serves you right!" called father bear, and he and his family ran off.
