WINNER
Congratulations to Peter, aged 4, from Staines, who has invented a brand new vegetable with a brand new name: the Debocho-Gillo. We think Herb the Vegetarian Dragon would really enjoy eating this. Peter has won the Herb the Vegetarian Dragon toy and book set.

RUNNERS UP
There were so many fantastic entries to the competition that we have decided to feature a few of them below. Well done everyone!

Candyfloss Mushroom

Reed's description says:

Candyfloss mushroom with a pasta tofu stalk (it likes to play an onion trumpet). You can find it under vegetarian fairy garden woodland trees and if you blow on it it giggles and blows bubbles. It smells of sweet cheese.

RIF particularly likes the 'onion trumpet'

Shane's recipe:

The Sparkling Rocket Aubergine with Peanut Butter

Steam the aubergine for 8-10 minutes. Cut square shapes on the aubergine and fill with peanut butter. Cut triangle shapes at the end to make a rocket shape. Finally, sprinkle grated coconut over the aubergine.
It's really yummy!

It tastes like crunchy cucumber.
Aubergine Eyeball
by Jonathan, aged 7, from London.
It tastes like snails.

These last two entries were sent in with lots of others from Miss Ashwin's Year 2 Class at Garden House School in London, which has won a special class prize. Well done to the whole class.
