The Invention of Hugo Cabret
Well done to everyone who entered the quiz to win a copy of the amazing The Invention of Hugo Cabret. You all had the correct answers (author Brian Selznick is 41, and his first book was The Houdini Box) but the winning name drawn out of the hat was Joshua (11). Congratulations!
Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror
The quality of entries to our Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror competition was incredibly high, and it was almost impossible to decide on a winner. After a lot of discussion, the RIF team decided that Lake Truesdale by Ben (12) was the most spine-tingling. Read Ben's winning story here.

The winner of our Beverley Naidoo competition was Alex (12). Alex correctly answered that the book which Beverley won the Carnegie Medal for was The Other Side of Truth. The other book award which Beverley has won twice is the Josette Frank Award.
