Classics Competition Winner

We asked you to rewrite the ending of one of your favourite books.
Jessica, age 12 was our winner, with this great version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Harry, Ron and Hermione passed through the gateway together, through the magical barrier. Harry found King's Cross unexpectedly filled with police men.
"What's going on?" He asked an old lady nearby. The woman gave a grin and moved closer, showing rotten and crooked teeth.
"Didn't yer 'ear? There's been a murder. Li'l boy what done it, called 'arry Potter. Killed 'is uncle, they said. That's why there 'ere. 'E was coming off the 11.45 from up north. Mad, you know. 'Ed been locked up at St Brutus's."
Harry felt a sinking feeling as the crowd of policemen surged towards him. Would he ever come back to Hogwarts?

Jessica won a fantastic set of classic books, including Frankenstein, Wuthering Heights, Treasure Island, Pride and Prejudice and David Copperfield. We hope she enjoys her prize.
